Reading Women

Just over the border, in Methuen, MA, a reference librarian at the Nevins Memorial Library, Nanci Milone Hill, has put together a resource for librarians, and book group leaders, looking for books to suggest to book groups composed of women.

A post on the Booklist Book Buzz Blog mentions the forthcoming (5/10) book from Greenwood Publishing Group. The book, Reading Women: A Book Club Guide for Women’s Fiction, will cover 100 titles of women’s fiction, romance, and chick lit--genres that are often overlooked as being "too lightweight" for book group discussions.

Until the book is released, you may want to check out some of Hill's tweets. She goes by the name, bookwoman3966.
