New Kits!

I don't know about your library, but my library is really busy this summer and time seems to have gotten away from me yet again. There are three more kits to be added to the list of available kits. They are all in the iPac.

Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. The kit holder is Keene Public Library.

Mercy Snow
by Tiffany Baker. This kit is hosted by the Aaron Cutler Memorial Library in Litchfield.

The Museum of Extraordinary Things by Alice Hoffman. Pelham is the kit host.

Please note, the promised online kit booking system is in the works. There are many behind-the-scenes issues that need to be resolved before it is ready to go. For instance, kit hosts will have to be assigned identities so that they can log into the system to access and update their kit information. Kit borrowing libraries, too, will need to be given an identity to reserve kits. (All reserving must be done by a library, not by members of the public.) Plus, there will need to be some sort of training session, so we are exploring the possibility of a YouTube video that can be accessed at any time, from anywhere, and for as long as is needed. Look for more information to come.

Have a great summer!
